This page, together with the documents expressly referred to on it, tells you information about us and the legal terms and conditions (Terms) on which we sell any of the products (Products) listed on our website (our site) to you.

These Terms will apply to any contract between us for the sale of Products to you (Contract). Please read these Terms carefully and make sure that you understand them, before ordering any Products from our site. Please note that by ordering any of our Products, you agree to be bound by these Terms and the other documents expressly referred to in them.

You will be asked to confirm your acceptance of these Terms before being able to place an order. If you refuse to accept these Terms, you will not be able to order any Products from our site. You should print a copy of these Terms, or save them to your computer, for future reference.

1. Information about us

We operate the website www.dyson.co.uk. We are Dyson Limited, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 2627406 and with our registered office at Tetbury Hill, Malmesbury, Wiltshire, SN16 0RP. Our VAT number is 736734610.

2. Our Products

Product images on the site are for illustrative purposes. Colours may vary depending on your screen. Measurements are accurate within a 2% tolerance. Packaging may differ from what is shown. All products are subject to availability and will be confirmed via email.

3. Use of Our Site

Your use of our site is subject to our Terms of Website Use and Acceptable Use Policy. Please review these documents carefully.

4. How we use your personal information

We only use your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

5. If you are a Consumer

You must be at least 18 years old to make a purchase. Consumer rights related to faulty or misdescribed goods remain unaffected.

6. If you are a Business Customer

You confirm you are authorised to act on behalf of the business. These terms constitute the entire agreement between us. You acknowledge that no other statements outside these Terms apply.

7. Contract Formation

You may review and amend your order before submitting. You will receive an acknowledgment email, but the contract is only formed once we send a Dispatch Confirmation. If we cannot supply a product, we will inform you and issue a refund.

8. Consumer Right of Return and Refund

Consumers have a right to cancel a contract starting from the date of Dispatch Confirmation. Cancellation periods are:

  • 35 days for machines

  • 14 days for purifiers, fans, heaters, and cosmetics (if unopened)

To cancel, notify us in writing. Refunds will be processed within 14 days of product return or notice of cancellation. Machine returns will be collected free of charge. Tools, accessories, cosmetics, and cleaning solutions must be returned at your expense (unless faulty), with appropriate documentation and packaging.

9. Delivery

Delivery will occur by the estimated date unless affected by an external event. Ownership and responsibility transfer at delivery. Orders can only be delivered within the UK Mainland.

11. Price

Prices include VAT but exclude delivery fees. Errors in pricing will be addressed prior to order confirmation.

12. Payment and Pre-Order

Accepted payment methods: Mastercard, Visa, Maestro, PayPal. For pre-orders, payment authorisation may occur at any time before dispatch. If authorisation fails, we may request an alternative method or cancel the order.

13. Our Liability if You are a Business

We exclude liability for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits or data. Our liability is limited to the purchase price of the product. We do not warrant product suitability for your intended use.

14. Our Liability if You are a Consumer

We are liable only for foreseeable losses caused by our breach. We do not accept liability for business use. We do not exclude liability for death, personal injury, fraud, or statutory consumer rights.

15. Events Outside Our Control

We are not liable for delays or non-performance due to events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, strikes, or transport failures.

16. Communications Between Us

Written communications include email. Notices must be sent via email or post. If you’re a business, notices must be provable in method and delivery.

17. Other Important Terms

We may transfer rights and obligations under the contract. No other party has enforcement rights. If a term is unenforceable, the remainder stays effective. These Terms are governed by English law.

  • Consumers may also bring actions in Northern Ireland or Scotland

  • Businesses agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales

18. Guarantee Details

Machines have a 5-year guarantee; environmental control, lighting, Supersonic and cordless items have 2 years (terms apply).

19. Dyson Price Match Promise

If within 7 days of purchase you find a qualifying UK retailer (Argos, Currys, John Lewis) selling the same model for less, we will refund the difference.

20. Award Claims Substantiation

Our “Most Awarded Cordless Range” claim is based on awards from top UK publishers by July 2023 for Dyson cordless vacuum models. Verification and data substantiation are available upon request.
